Wedding Wish-List Wednesday: Valentine’s Day Wedding

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, this is one post I had to have a little fun with.

I admit, I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day!  What can I say?  It’s the romantic in me.  I love the roses, the cheesy cards, the romantic candlelight dinners, the chocolates…it’s all classic.

So what could be better than taking a romantic concept and applying it to Valentine’s Day itself?  Combining the ultimate romance of a wedding with the most romantic day of the year!

You know, if I couldn’t be a wedding photographer, I would probably try my hand at wedding planning and design.  I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to the fabulous and fun concepts for weddings I have seen all over the internet.  (I told you weddings were an obsession for me!)  Here are a few great Valentine’s Day wedding ideas I have found on Pinterest that make me want to photograph one as soon as possible!

Like these charming heart-shaped wreaths for a garden wedding.

And speaking of flowers, how about this charming rosy bouquet with just a few touches of bling?

Or better yet, a reception hall festooned with as many red roses as possible:

Add a little bit of candlelight to that for a great romantic mix:

For a really unique idea incorporating roses, try rose petals in the champagne flutes!

Or try going with the softer side for a Valentine’s Day celebration, with pastels and creamy tones, or incorporate more pinks as opposed to reds:

And because Florida has tons of beaches, why not have a romantic sunset wedding on the beach, with rose petals creating a path to meet your beloved.  Then create a mood with flowers for the reception.

Just do it with Valentine’s Day elegance!
