Inspiration: White Weddings and Blue Floral Tents

It’s been a rough week.  Personally, politically…it hasn’t been fun.  But whenever life gets me down, it is time to remind myself of all that beauty I always like to look for!  And it helps to hunt down some great wedding inspiration!

We’ve got white weddings, garden beauty, and a new nifty idea — floral tents!

What are floral tents, you ask?  Well, essentially, they are a makeshift ceiling created from the use of flowers.  This amazing floral tent in blue, by Nasheed Events, had my jaw on the floor.  The design is simply incredible!

They took it indoors, too!

And speaking of floral tents…check out this incredible reception decor!

You can really do amazing things with flowers, like this over-the-top wedding decor with its graceful floral swans:

But why stop at swans?  Check out this incredible floral peacock from Phi Diep, a wedding planner in Vietnam.

I always love floral arches, and this one from Empty Vase Floral took my breath away.

And there’s always the classics, festooned with roses.

I always love garden weddings.  This one, found on Revelry Event Designs, definitely captured my attention.

And I’ve always been a fan of purple, so this charming little setting made me smile.

Flowers really do such a great job of augmenting a wedding theme.  Indoor or out.  This classic pink set-up sets a great romantic mood.

Use a combination of rich floral accents and creative lighting design, like this reception from Elly B Events.

Or you can keep the flowers to a minimum, like this golden reception from Revelry Event Designs.

To finish our inspiration with a definite flourish, this incredible white wedding reception was truly incredible — from a floral fountain to the intricate fan vaulting, even curtains of crystals.  This gets a real “wow,” doesn’t it?
